The following contains frequently asked questions regarding logging onto the Control Tower Platform. For further information regarding other sections of the application, consult the online help program by clicking the Help link from within the application.
Is there anything that a user can check when experiencing problems logging onto the application?
Will the application lock a user out after a certain number of log on attempts?
Q) Is there anything that a user can check when experiencing problems logging onto the application?
A) Yes. There are several reasons why a user may be unable to log onto the application. The user name and password are case sensitive and must be typed in correctly. Furthermore, if the CAPS LOCK is turned on or if either entry is misspelled then an "Invalid User Name and Password" message will display. Having the CAPS LOCK turned on works when the "User Name" and "Password" are upper case. For example: "jdoe" is not the same as "JDOE" and vice versa.
